It’s coming, It’s coming! Oktoberfest 2016
Hello family!
Yes, we realise we’ve been a bit absent, but these past few weeks have gone by so fast, and we have had so many memorable moments with such beautiful couples and we haven’t been able to get to everything… Anyway today we’re taking a little break from the world of weddings to remind you that we now have a date for the 5th edition of Oktoberfest Avellana style! Yes!!! This Sunday 16th of October!!!
Its an opportunity to see the Avellana in it’s most natural state, and my girls and I dressed in our traditional costume… more or less 😉 . The farm is filled with stalls of objects and clothes that hope to live their second life; typical food and refreshing German beers; music and dance for everybody but above all a lot of fun.
The ambience is really cool with loads of friends, people from the village, just-married Avellana couples, couples that got married years ago and they come with their babies, and others that come with big bellies! (This year I’m with the XL belly group). 🙂
Each year its more incredible to see the turn out, each year more and more people come, and there are more and more stalls and weeks before there are people asking about the date… and this motivates us so much to continue holding Oktoberfest year after year.
This year we’ve got the marvellous organization of Versatility again (they also win the place of official choreographers). Our floral friends Floristeria 5 will help us with the decoration and Elena de Blanco y Caramelo Photography will be there to take the best photos, the great make-up artist Rebeca Torres Make up will do our hair and and make-up in pure German style, the charming videographers and Avellana couple HoiPoi Produccions (how exciting! …remember their cinematic wedding inspired by Wes Anderson… here’s a link if you want a sneak peak… 😉 ), material from Comstel and so that nobody stops dancing we’ve got Friends & Sound.
So now you know, you’ve got a date Sunday to immerse yourself in the most typical Deutsch party.
