Prost, Oktoberfest!

Hallo! Wie geht’s?

or… Hello! How are you?
Today I wanted to tell you a little about this year’s Oktoberfest… but first of all a BIG thank-you to Elena from Blanco&Caramelo and Mireia&Guillem from HoiPoi for doing a great and quick work to have all the photos&video of this funny day!

As you’ll have already seen on our Facebook page, this year’s edition was another success, and to top it off we had a very sunny day to celebrate. There were tons of stalls filling our era and other corners of the grounds. All of our stall tenders worked really hard to give a second life to everything they had brought: clothes, toys, books, trinkets, decorative knick-knacks… the difficult bit was choosing what to buy!

 
We were also accompanied by a lot of Avellana couples and many of them had baby bumps! I love meeting up again this way, when we play catch up and hug (and our bumps get bumped hugging 😉 ) makes me laugh thinking about it…
It’s so lovely to see so many faces and remember such unforgettable moments!!!!

The frankfurters and beer helped round out the day… and I’d like to give EXTRA thanks to the team working the bar (Marta (the smiling leader), Maria Jose (who worked the till full-time), Rafael (the king of the frankfurters), Anna (the bar tender with the sexiest smile), Ariadna (the all terrain nanny) and Massimo (who fried tons of fries… if you missed him its because he was down in the basement frying potatoes!!!hahaha!)).
 

 
And the classic moment that everyone is always waiting for; Marta led the way for the improvised dance for the littlest ones, and the not so little ones and the giant surprse… 😉
 

 
Loads of friends stopped at the photo call, Elena from Blanco y Caramelo didn’t miss a single one; so much so they almost missed getting a frankfurter. In this link you can find a gallery with all the photos Elena did.
 

 
The party went on and on; and ended with a touch of Avellana craziness (of course); a catwalk with clothes from the stalls… so fun! …let’s just say our little Avellana girls got mom, dad and some of our crazy comrades to try on anything and everything… and although we promised that none of these photos would see the light of day (Elena swore on it); after seeing them I have to admit that they had to be shared.
There’s no doubt that halo of madness has always been hanging over our place… and its so great to laugh until your belly hurts…or better said baby bump! 😉
 

 
Well everybody, just want to thank you again for coming, those who are Oktoberfest veterans, and those who came for the first time; without you Oktoberfest just wouldn’t be the same.
Also a big thanks to the Versatility team for making sure that we had everything, 5 Floristería mood shop for helping us make everything beautiful, Rebeca Torres for doing thousands of braids, Blanco y Caramelo for taking so many awesome photos, HoiPoi Produccions for making this fun video that you can see below (wait until the end 😉 ), Friends & Sound for the music, and Comstel for the material.
